Today, Tuesday - an unidentified man walked into an aerobics class full of women, turned off the lights and started shooting. 5 casualties (including the shooter) with over 15 injured. Investigation is still ongoing as to the identification of the shooter and the motive!
BRIDGEVILLE, Pa. – A Pittsburgh television station says a shooting at a suburban health club has left four people dead, including the shooter.
KDKA reports the killings were at the L.A. Fitness Center in Bridgeville, a community of about 5,000 residents not far from downtown Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh International Airport.
Allegheny County police tell The Associated Press a person called them Tuesday evening and said someone was shooting inside.
A witness tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette newspaper she was in an exercise class when a man came in a back door and started shooting. Ashley Ogordowski says her friend was among the wounded.
Gym member Lauren Dooley tells the Post-Gazette she heard 12 to 15 shots.
Perry Calabro was playing racquetball inside. He says when the shooting began "everybody started running."
Allegheny General Hospital spokesman Dan Laurent says two women with gunshot wounds have been taken there. Link
What is going on with these shooting sprees? Why are these gun-totting madmen going postal?
No one is safe in public or private. People going insane and shooting randomly at anything and anyone that moves.
I can only guess at what happened at this Pittsburgh gym:
1. Ex-boyfriend or Ex-husband searching for his ex-gf/wife who was exercising at this gym class
2. A misogynist making a deadly statement and randomly picked this gym as his target
3. The gym revoked this man's membership with no refund and he is acting out violently
4. He just snapped and the gym was his closest target
