PETA once again demonstrates why they are not relevant. During an interview the President swatted a pesky fly. PETA's response?
PETA is sending President Barack Obama a Katcha Bug Humane Bug Catcher, a device that allows users to trap a house fly and then release it outside.
"We support compassion even for the most curious, smallest and least sympathetic animals," PETA spokesman Bruce Friedrich said Wednesday. "We believe that people, where they can be compassionate, should be, for all animals."
What?
Flies aren't animals in need of protection. Flies are disease transits on the wing. What will PETA suggest that we not "kill" next? Bacteria? Maybe they'll protest Purell for producing hand sanitizer...I guess hand sanitizer is germ genocide.
And who makes this Human Bug Catcher thing? That is the silliest thing I have ever heard. If I catch a bug in my house I'm killing it. Anything with more than 4 legs that trespasses in my house gets the automatic death sentence. I hope Obama does the right thing and puts that bug catcher contraption in its proper place, the recycling bin on trash day.
Peep Obama's super swatting skills. Who else has reflexes and speed like that? The man is amazing! This is clearly another reason why wingers hate Obama, they're jealous of his superior hand-eye coordination.
