Lots of people started jumping down his throat saying that was mean and below the belt, etc etc. So then Huckabee then goes on the road and issues this half-assed apology.
Yeah right. He's not sorry for what he said. He's sorry that what he said didn't get the reaction he wanted. He meant to float that little thought bubble out there about Mormons so that all the other Christians would say "yeah those Mormons are wierd, we could never elect one president". It didn't work out that way, so now he's sorry.
Well I'm sorry. I'm sorry that this guy is actually in the running to be president.
