We’ve seen over the last eight years how decisions by a president can have a profound effect on the course of history and on American lives; much that’s wrong with our country goes back even farther than that.
We’ve been talking about the same problems for decades and nothing is ever done to solve them. Hey, your guy won. Tip my cap. I just wonder how he got all of you to be ashamed of America so shortly after his wife finally got on board with the pride thing. Perhaps once he sits in the Oval Office, he will be able to say something nice and positive about the Country.
In this country you can say the president is an idiot, you can be critical of policies, behaviors, anything. That is America. That is the freedom we all should hold dear.
It is in fact, it is most patriotic to point out the flaws in our country so that they may be corrected...to care enough to want improvement is patriotism. To blindly flag wave while smiling and remaining silent to mistakes and flaws is not patriotic, but the short road to fascism.
