| Charlie Gibson interviewed Palin...and all I can say is she's clueless. So much so, she's almost a caricature of a politiican...throughout the interview I kept waiting for her to turn and face the camera and say "Live from New York it's Saturday Night Live!" |

Watch little Ms. Mooseburgers as she attempts to answer Charlie Gibson's questions. |

Let's recap on an important part of the interview:So, not only did the McCain campaign not vet her properly, they also sent her out on national TV for an interview unprepared. Do they really think that the American public are that stupid, that we would watch this person and think it would be great to have her second in line from the big red button? Actually she embarrasses me. She embarrasses our whole country. I bet the international community is having a good ole chuckle at our expense this morning after watching a candidate for Vice President of the United States perform so poorly. How could she not know what the Bush Doctrine is? WTF? And just in case any of you out there think Gibson made that up to confuse poor Sarah, you can read all about right here. Reporters and political talking heads have only been going on and on about the Bush Doctrine since we steamrolled our way into Iraq...I guess Palin must not watch too much TV or browse the internet much. And wait, there's more from her interview : Palin said that she believed a nuclear Iran presented a threat to "everyone in the world" and that if Israel's existence was threatened by those weapons it had a right to defend itself.Drumbeating for a war with Iran? Already?
So we may have to attack RUSSIA?! Oh goody another war. We cannot let this person in the White House or the idiot that nominated her. This is a prime example of why McCain is unfit to be president. A very central part of being president is selecting others to help in the task of governing this country. With McCain's first choice clearly so disasterous, how do you think he will fair with picking his cabinent. Perhaps he'll pick his wife to be Secretary of State, because afterall Bush had a woman in that position too, and his wife is just is good as Condi....women are apparently completely interchangeable in McCain's eyes, as long as they can wear a skirt...Hillary, Sarah, women are all the same. A McCain presidency will be more disasterous and war filled than Bush's...something I thought was not even possible. It is clear now, that the very survival of our country is at stake in this election. Register to vote today. |

The United States does not need to get into a war with Russia over Georgia or the Ukraine.
I think she\'s too focussed on what she believes to be morally right rather than what is pragmatic and what is in the best interests of the United States.
The United States also needs to take a few steps back from wholeheartedly supporting Israel because if Israel does strike Iran that would suck the US into another Middle Eastern conflict.
The US should be doing more to keep the peace than to fan the flames.
That made me smile.

And here is a comparison of the questions Gibson asked of Obama:

History Lesson!
Obama announced his run for the Presidency in Feb 2007 - for over 1 year, his qualifications and experience has gone through the media pressure cooker. He has already been hit with the Hard and Invasive Questions by the media and during the Primary debates! Did we already forgotten about this??
Palin came onto the ticket - what, less than a month ago and we knew nothing about her except that she\'s a hockey mom, moose hunter and likes to wear lipstick.
Will only 2 months before the election, we want to know her stance on economics, the War, environment, foreign affairs, international relations, etc. These are issues that are important to deal with as a potential VP.
