I know right about now that democrats are toasting to their good fortune of having dodged the deadly bullet that is John Edwards. Next up in the ever expanding baby momma drama that is Edwards' life, domestic violence.
Cancer-stricken Elizabeth Edwards is telling pals that John beat her during a horrific marriage-ending fight, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.
"John lost his temper big-time," revealed a close friend of Elizabeth...
The alleged beating ended any hope that the Edwards marriage could continue.
The friend reveals Elizabeth said: "When he (John) made the decision to hit me, it was over."
John did not respond when The Enquirer asked him to comment on the allegation he beat his wife.
Well if there is even a small, tiny kernel of truth to this, then Edwards should just go and live in a cave, because any aspirations he had of doing a guilt media tour and then coming back after some time out of the spotlight are gone. Cheaters the public can stomach, but men who beat women, no way...just ask Chris Brown.
The Edwards scandal is descending into epic soap opera proportions, cheating on a sick wife, a "love child", a crazy mistress, hush money, sex tapes and now charges of domestic violence. I wouldn't be surprised if the next thing we hear is that Edwards participated in an orgy with Snooki and The Situation while snacking on coke dipped pickles. I'm just sayin'
