Winfrey and her staff will leave Chicago on Saturday. The cruise ship will stop in Spain, Italy, Turkey, Greece and Malta. She is covering transportation, food, drinks and activities at port stops...
According to Chicago-based Best Travel, a cruise like the one Winfrey is taking her staff on costs about $5,400 a person.
This is one of the reasons why I love Oprah. She offers minorities and women a chance to grow and prosper in the business world, she gives back to her community at home and abroad, and she treats her employee well...very well. She is an example of what a successfull person should do.
The press and certain hater clubs love to bash Oprah...for her weight issues, for her popularity, for her sexuality...but all of that is just sour grapes, jealousy pressed and distilled. Oprah is the real deal, that's why she's so popular. Most people who don't have issues can recognize her success for what it is...the product of really hard work and a dash of luck.
Go Oprah...and can a sista get a job?
