The AIP! According to their website , the AIP can be summed up in just 2 words: ALASKA FIRST! The dream of the AIP and their founding father, Joe Vogler, is to achieve independence and be a separate nation. In other words, the AIP party wants Alaska to secede from the United States and becomes its own country.
In the last week, we've heard repeatedly from Sarah Palin on how serious Obama's "palling around" with former terrorist Bill Ayers was and demanded that Obama explain his affiliation.
What we haven't heard much is Palin's "palling around" with the AIP. As Governor, Sarah Palin supported the "good work" of the AIP. Her husband, Todd was a registered member of the party from 1995 and 2000. She had even addressed the AIP 2008 Convention, welcoming their members and lauding their efforts.
The founder, Joe Vogler, hates the US. He infamously had said,
I’m an Alaskan, not an American. I’ve got no use for America or her damned institutions.Here's the voice of Joe Vogler. Wouldn't you think his philosophy is a precursor to a homegrown Terrorist? Before he was murdered in 1993, he was about to purchase plastic explosives from the Black Market. Hmmm?! What did he need to blowup?
The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government, and I won’t be buried under their damn flag.
Two questions:
1. Can this affiliation be intrepreted as Treason? If Obama's "palling around" makes him a terrorist - what does Palin's "palling around" and support for the AIP make her?
2. How can the McCain Camp Motto be "Country First" when Barracuda Barbie belongs to a nut-fringe group that wants to secede from the United States? So which is it? Country First or Alaska First?!
Poor insane Sarah - this must be her Irony!
