Tune in this October month for the 2012 Presidential Debates. This is the ultimate smackdown between incumbent President Barack Obama and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney! Dont't miss it because your future depends on it!
The moment is upon us. The eyes of the nation, and of a good deal of the world, will be on an arena on the south side of Denver Wednesday night.
Much has transpired to lead to this moment. The GOP primary debates — with that bizarre, though sometimes entertaining, field — seem like a past lifetime; even the two party conventions, barely a month in the past, are fading from memory. That is all now preamble.
And there is still the opportunity for something new to unfold in the five weeks before the Nov. 6 national election — another tape, more debates, an economic uptick or downturn, an overseas event.
But if there is still to be a turning point or final, critical juncture to this campaign, the odds are that it will occur this Wednesday in our city. For the incumbent president, it is his chance to solidify a hold on a second term and, in so doing, to solidify a legacy. For the challenger at the other podium, it is his last, best chance to find that breakthrough which has so far eluded him.
President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney will take the stage with very different political imperatives and objectives. Link
