Ladies and Gentle Christians, due to unforseen circumstances, the scheduled May 21st Rapture has been postponed to October 21 of this year. We are now certain, again. What had occurred on May 21 was just a spiritual prelude to the rescheduled, up and coming BIG apocalyptic destruction of this earth. Didn't everyone felt the spiritual earthquakes and the spiritual tsunamis that hit at 6pm? Well, now earthlings should be ready for the big one in October! God has spoken!

Family Radio was looking at the Bible in too much of an earthly fashion when it predicted a great earthquake on May 21, 2011 would mark the beginning of judgment day, said Harold Camping, president and general manager, Monday.

Rather, May 21 was a day when God’s judgment came on the world spiritually, Camping said. But Family Radio is sticking to its original assertion that the world will literally come to a fiery end on Oct. 21, 2011.

Camping came out of seclusion and broke his silence on Family Radio’s regularly scheduled “Open Forum Monday,” which began at 8:30 p.m. EST in Oakland, Calif. The “Open Forum” is usually a program where callers, including Camping’s most harshest critics, can call in ask questions about the Bible live on the air. But this “Open Forum,” on May 23, was reserved for reporters to ask several questions of Camping.

Originally, Camping boldly predicted to followers on his radio show that judgment day would begin in New Zealand with a devastating earthquake that would begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011, and then it would proceed to ripple across the Earth as 6 p.m. hit each time zone. Many people kept a watchful eye for news reports out of New Zealand, which is 16 hours ahead of the East Coast in the United States. When the earthquake failed to happen, critics quickly declared Camping’s prediction a bust.

Based on figures given in Revelation 9, Camping said it was a strong possibility that God would save 200 million people during the Rapture and bring them into heaven. Meanwhile, the rest of the world would perish or experience hell on Earth until Oct. 21, 2011, when the world and the universe would be destroyed by fire. Link

Yes, Camping and his followers are all sadden and disappointed that the rest of us 97% of the world's population did NOT die a violent apocalyptic death. We are all still here, alive and kicking, along with the estimated 200 million Christians - Damn! Don't you just hate it when you had hope and pray for the world population's violent demise, didn't happen?!

Camping and his company will NOT be returning any of the millions of dollars that was donated for the May 21st cause. Instead all resources will be redirected to advertise the new October date.

Yes, it was a spiritual rapture that occurred on May 21. Now more people will convert to Christianity and follow Camping for the next doomsday.

This is the latest type of Evangelical Christian ministry: to scare the BeeJeZus out of people to believe the end is near and just simply reschedule a new future date for the 2nd Coming.
Because in the doctrine of Harold Camping - there is one real physical 2nd Coming and of course, there are multiple, unlimited spiritual 2nd-3rd-4th-5th-and so on Comings.

So to all you Christian Fools, donate now!

Harold Camping was wrong about May 21, 2011 and the rapture but he might be right about October 21, 2011. Right around this time and early November, Earth will encounter the tail of the comet Elenin...and the tail of this dragon might just be slinging out poison...like cyanide. In 2010, comet Hartley's tail increased its cyanide output by five times as it neared the Sun and began to melt. I don't know if Elenin is made of cyanide like Hartley was but if it is and we're going through the tail in late October to early November, ELEnin might really turn out to be an Extinction Level Event. The fact that you said, "He may be right about October 21, 2011" just DESTROYED your intellectual & basic sound credibility. Every prediction about the end times made from Christian fanatics like you, have all somehow been paralleled or rationalized with some alignment of planets, earth rotation, comet heading towards earth, shifting of axis, volcanic eruptions ,,,, blah blah blah mumbo jumbo, which have ALL FAILED to be the 2nd coming.

"Comet Elenin will not encounter any dark bodies that could perturb its orbit, nor will it influence us in any way here on Earth," said Yeomans. "It will get no closer to Earth than 35 million kilometers [about 22 million miles]. "

"Comet Elenin will not only be far away, it is also on the small side for comets," said Yeomans. "And comets are not the most densely-packed objects out there. They usually have the density of something akin to loosely packed icy dirt.

"So you've got a modest-sized icy dirtball that is getting no closer than 35 million kilometers," said Yeomans. "It will have an immeasurably miniscule influence on our planet. By comparison, my subcompact automobile exerts a greater influence on the ocean's tides than comet Elenin ever will."
