The impossible has happened. Much like everyone thought it was impossible for Nicole Richie to get pregnant and have a healthy baby, it looks like another member of the skelton crew has spawned a healthy baby as well.

The Oscar-winning actress and her country-star husband welcomed a baby girl on Monday, then named her after the day before.

"Earlier this morning Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban," read the message posted on Urban's Web site. "We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today."

The first baby for Kidman and Urban, Sunday weighed 6 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces, according to Paul Freundlich, a publicist for the singer. There was no immediate explanation for the name, though one thing is certain: She'll never be upstaged by the likes of Suri, Apple, Moses, or Shiloh.

Yes. And they gave the baby a stupid name also. Sunday, not like the dessert, check the spelling, but like the day. And some people make jokes about black folks naming their kids after booze and cars. I'll take Alize over Sunday anytime.

But enough of the snarkfest. Congrats to the new parents. I wonder if this will keep ole' Keith on the wagon? Whoops, slipped up on the snarky comment again. Sorry.
