Beyonce's little sister Solange has been busy in the studio. The first leak from her latest efforts to not be like Beyonce is the single, "Under Construction".
I like it. I liked Solange's last album, I thought it was very listenable with no throwaway tracks. It's a shame her label didn't do better promoting the album, it should have been a bigger hit.
Solange tries so hard to be the anti-Beyonce, shaving her head, wearing Lady Gaga-lite gear. Instead of trying so hard not to be her sister, she should concentrate on just being herself. She's a pretty girl, with a beautiful voice, she should work with that and stop listening to whoever that is whose whispering in her ear that she has to try harder to be a Beyonce alternative.
