Well, this flu gets around! Joe Wilson's wife, Roxanne, has been diagnosed with the H1N1 Virus! Another statistic added to the state of South Carolina!
WASHINGTON (CNN) – Rep. Joe Wilson's wife Roxanne has been diagnosed with swine flu, the congressman's office confirmed to CNN on Thursday.
The South Carolina Republican who gained instant notoriety in September for shouting "You lie!" at the president told The Hill newspaper on Thursday that he plans to keep his distance from his wife when he returns home this weekend.
Wilson said he plans to get the H1N1 vaccination soon, but only after "the majority of the American people" receive it.
Rep. Greg Walden, R-Washington, is the only member of Congress to have contracted swine flu. He tweeted the news on Monday, revealing plans to head off to "seclusion for a while" while he recovers. Link
This flu is spreading and spreading fast.
I haven't heard much about Mexico anymore since the cases of infection are occurring here in the US.
I'm waiting to hear the flu hitting some liberal Democrat and what outcry (or praises) that would bring from the Republicans.
Already I can see Christian Conservatives spin it as God's punishment towards that individual! It would probably be broadcast as "God is hopping mad at the liberal agenda plaguing our Nation". God wants the liberal leaders to suffer at the hands of this disease as punishment.
"God is a vengeful God! He is not happy!"
