I wondered how long it would take before the various shady cast of characters that surrounded Michael Jackson would begin to "unburden" their souls for money. First up, Debbie Rowe, the "mother" of two of MJ's children.
In an astonishing interview Debbie - mother of Prince, 12, and Paris, 11 - said she was artificially inseminated by an anonymous donor.
And she told how, despite Jackson's death, she does not WANT custody of the children and NEVER expects to see them again...
Speaking exclusively at her home Debbie said: "Michael was divorced, lonely and wanted children. I was the one who said to him, 'I will have your babies'.
"I offered him my womb - it was a gift. It was something I did to keep him happy."
After second birth he wanted no more to do with me
Debbie said she was "impregnated" like one of the thoroughbred mares she now keeps on her property, adding: "I was just the vessel. It wasn't Michael's sperm.
"I got paid for it, and I've moved on. I know I will never see my children again."...
Speaking to journalist Rebecca White, who became a close friend over months of detailed conversations, Debbie said she does not want to seek custody of the children. She admitted: "I was never a good mother, I never felt any attachment to them. It was a better feeling giving them to him than it was keeping them as my own.
"I know I will never see them again. I was never cut out to be a mother - I was no good. I don't want these children in my life. My children are my animals now."
Ummm. Ok. Translation. I was paid for a job. I did the job. I don't see how I can get anymore cash except by telling MJ's business, because I surely don't want all of the drama that would come with raising those 2 test tube babies. She's a peach isn't she? How and why did MJ attract and allow people like that into his life? Leeches, vultures and opportunists of all kinds. Sigh.
Next up on the profit from a man's death train, the concert promoter.
Michael Jackson’s last rehearsal at the Staples Center on Wednesday, the eve of his death, was recorded in multi-camera, high-definition video and multi-track audio, and could be released as the performer’s last album, according to several people close to the now-defunct concert tour.Gee. Can they at least let the man be buried first before they start counting their money?
The recordings were made as part of concert promotion company AEG Live’s deal with Jackson, which included a plan to produce both an album and DVD of what Jackson had billed his “final performance” tour, titled “This Is It.”...
The recordings also could be used to produce both a DVD or Blu-ray disc of the entertainer’s last performance -- the entertainer singing his greatest hits.
One AEG official boasted to a colleague this weekend, “We have a live album in the can.”
This is very typical how death brings out the worst in people. I can just picture all of them grabbing for dollars around MJ's casket. Depressing. Sigh.
